The NDSU basketball seasons appeared to have ended with a thud in Sioux Falls. The Bison women were trampled by IUPUI 69-56 to finish Maren Walseth’s third year with a record of 6-24.

Meanwhile, the NDSU men, after starting conference play with a  7-1 record, stumbled to a 76-57 loss to seventh seeded IUPUI and were eliminated from the Summit League Tournament in the quarterfinals for the first time since 2012.

Paul Miller led the Bison with 24 points as NDSU falls to a record of 19-11. It is yet to be seen if this team will accept a CBI/CIT offer as remember they declined one last year after falling in the Summit League championship game.

Jeff Kolpack recaps the day from Sioux Falls.
