The 2018 North Dakota State football season kicks off tomorrow afternoon at the Fargodome and expectations are sky high for the Bison to return to Frisco, Texas. NDSU is loaded with 25 seniors returning and 14 starters in all. Easton Stick is back for his fourth year at the helm on a team that has experience at every position.
The rest of the Missouri Valley is really intriguing. South Dakota State is still going to be good, Taryn Christion is also in his fourth year as a starter for the Jacks. Youngstown State has plenty of talent, but a great unknown at quarterback. Illinois State is turning to a transfer to lead them at QB, while Western Illinois returns Sean McGuire at the helm.
Northern Iowa is really intriguing to me, again another experienced quarterback in Eli Dunne, who’s performed great against everybody else but NDSU. The Panthers could be a wildcard in the Valley race.
Bookmark this blog and let’s re-visit again in November. Have a look at last year’s predictions if you dare, I was off by a game a season ago.
