2016 in Review: The Year of Carson

As we get ready to say goodbye to 2016, we will be posting some year end content to reflect on the last 12 months and then look ahead to 2017. Today’s post focuses on the biggest sports story in North Dakota since Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth’s home run record in 1961, Carson Wentz and his path to the NFL.

It’s strange to think back and write about it now, considering at this time last year we were wondering if he was going to play in the national championship game against Jacksonville State. After he left Frisco began the craziest story I’ve ever covered, from reporting on NFL news to half of the league coming to the Fargodome for Pro Day, to actually being at the red carpet for the NFL Draft, each moment seemed to top the last.

I’d like to hear what were your favorite moments of the last year of following Wentz’s road to the draft. Post your comments on this blog, would like to hear from you! Happy New Year Everyone!
