2016 Bracketology: 8.0

Today is a landmark day for the Football Championship Subdivision, as the FCS Playoff Committee will unveil its debut top ten ranking for the playoffs. You can watch it at 3pm on ESPNU’s College Football Drive show. This will be our first look to see what the committee values, either strength of schedule or overall record. If you see Sam Houston State in the top 3, then they value record. If NDSU is number one, as they should be, then it’s strength of schedule. As for the bracket, as I tweeted on Sunday, I believe 22 of the 24 spots are spoken for. But it makes the fight for the final two really interesting. Here’s my bracket with three weeks to go. The committee will shine some light on things this afternoon.
